Weird week...ha ha

Wow haha yea mom you're right the yea sure is flying!!! haha it's crazy but it certainly is the experience of a life time. Anyways haha i loved hearing about all the experiences of this week haha. I love the photos haha i was definitely laughing super hard. Classic. But i love hearing about all the kids experiences sounds like they are all still killing it!! Makes me happy! Haha i loved jennas póker face by the way.

Anyways so this week was super super crazy. So i'll just say it but Elder Romero is going to have to go home because of his leg.... we actually had to stay in the house for two days this week and then we went to the doctor on friday and yea so after this cycle he has to go home... its really sad he's a good Elder and really has a desire to serve. So yea the last couple of days i have been in a trio with Elder Arlington and Elder Seguel the other elders of my district!!! I'm just running everywhere and there's so much to do and like bills to pay for the wáter for the house and its like booooom there goes my mind haha.

But yea we couldn't do much work this week so we have to postpone the baptism because we still need to teach more. BUT i was able to do some splits with other missionaries and teach and we put another baptismal date for the 23rd!! and we found a cool family. I'll have to tell some cool stories.

So on monday after district meeting we were walking back to the house and we were tired. We were supposed to visit Irving but we were like naaaahhh its super far on the other side of our área so we were going back but suddenly we got a feeling and both stopped walking at the same time and looked at each other and we knew what we needed to do. We walked across the área and met with him and taught him the first lesson and yea now he is going to get baptized!! super cool. haha also we contacted another reference this week. It started off as a terrible day and we were searching for this reference and couldn't find it and like after two hours we were done but we knew that the Lord would help us find it.. so ten minutes later we found it and this guy has already had a book of mormon for 15 years and has never gone to the church but he says he HAS to read it everyday before going to work and knows its the Word of God. WHATD AHREOAHEA FHDSAOI FHEQO hahaha we freaked out but yea it was cool so we are starting to teach him too.

I feel good like physically but i do feel really run down and tired after this week and bleh. Hoping i get kind of a reboot this week and i feel bad for Elder Romero and yea. Just trying to stay focused and get this work rollin haha.

Also i'm doing good though and plugging along. I have found that faith is just SOSOSOSOSO key out here and imloving using the priesthood whenever i can do give blessings or anything.

Gettin the babes with the dance!! ahha i hope it was fun and you enjoyed it!! And awesome with the lesson on Joseph Smith. I encourage you to keep it up with the góspel stuff itll help you so much. Hey guys whats up!! Sounds like it was a good week for ya all. Keep it up. Im just plugging along and i'm not gonna lie this week i grew a lot!! Our numbers definitely dont show it but im more diligent and obedient tan ever and im just doing all i can to follow dat spirit and just kill it.
So anyways my new companion is Elder Romero from Reinosa. Its right next to McCallin Texas and he's pretty cool!! He's super excited to get out there and he's obedient and curious. He's a convert of one year and three months and he's a natural!! He has a leg problema but he's just pushing it everyday and doing awesome!
As soon as we got to the house after picking him up we set our goal for baptisms for our time together... we prayed and the Lord gave us a super high goal of 10 baptisms and one family of gold every week... man and we are working hard for it!!
Alejandro and Blanca are still doing great! They should still get baptized the 2nd of May and its looking good. We should have a couple others in may as well!! We ' have a chance to go with Blanca until wednesday and she was so happy to see us cause she thought that we were only there to make her go to church. We actually had something else planned to teach but the spirit completely destroyed it and we let her know we love her and we are here to stay and help! They came yesterday to church as well!
Another cool thing happened. So we had the food with an older lady and she lives with her son. She is alone   and i shared with her as a spiritual thought John. 16:33 and expressed our gratitude for everything. She started to cry and then asked for a blessing and i immediately volunteered and gave it and when we were walking away another missionary told me "wow idk why but that was cool you are like an actual minister of Christ and that was sick" ahhaha you're a missionary to buddy haha that was cool.
But we have been doing lots of contacting for this new initiative and we have found some REALLY cool people. People who are just curious to listen to us. Im not gonna lie i get stressed out alot  but I LOVE teaching. My mind is so clear and i always know exactly what to say. haha I know my spanish sucks and it isn't the best but its cool how during lessons i feel like i own spanish and then when there are times when i don't need it as much i suck haha its funny and cool.
The food was good and thats always good of course. Haha THANKS FOR THE CEREAL i rejoiced at the fact that i know have Reeses and Cookie Krisp. Oh baby i'm seeett.
Haha but yea me and my companion watch the District nightly and make fun of some of the people and yea its funny haha. Im just pushing hard. Im so exhausted but its all good!!!

Haha well yea it was a interesting week... well the last few days for sure. Hahahaha anyways ill explain in a Little bit. Well yea i'm glad the trip ended well for you guys!! Arizona is always sick. And congratulate Andrew for me with the federation!! I always remember that was way tough. Out here i still play all the time. about 1 or 2 times a week and i've been making a few more arrangements of hymns so i'm still honing my God given gift ;) hahahaha jk. Im sure Andrew and Sarah AND jenna are better than me haha. Anyways keep it up guys! I love getting photos from home to just so you know haha :) But yea mom you're right the tim does pass really really fast.. it will be weird coming home.. but i still have a little bit over a year haha.

Also sports for a sec GO SOX. I hope they kill it. And thatd be sick if the C´s made the playoffs haha ok.

ANYWAYS. So we had a transfers and the whole week everyone was like Medeiros is gone he's leaving!! He has the most time! So i was preparing myself and coping that it would be the last time i see my converts. I realized how much i love these people and i wasn't sure if i would see them again. SO we got the transfers last night AND IM STAYING. AGAIN. AND......IM TRAINING AGAIN. hahahahhaa so if i stay for the full 3 month training program then ill have 7 and a half months here in Tierra Nueva. Oh well. Im kind of excited because this week we set 3 MORE baptismal dates!! A cool experience this week. Well the neighbor of our converts is named Mayra. And we started teaching her this week and started with the Restoration. We found out that she has some what of a religious background and they just moved from a ranch so she doesn't know what to do. We taught her the whole lesson and i thought it went well and then we were about to close then i felt like my own voice in my head say " INVITE HER TO BAPTISM" and then i was like wait..uhh before we close.. one way you can get closer to Christ is through baptism and she accepted! Then we taught her how to pray and she cried and stuff and told us its true and our converts testified and i just loved everyone! haha it was way cool. It made me so grateful that i just have a strong testimony of the Rest. JOSEPH WAS A PROPHET IM TELLING YOU. CHRIST RESTORED HIS CHURCH. hahaha.

anyways so thats cool.

The food was actually subpar this week.. but i'm grateful the members give us their food. Its super nice that they do it. I actually had a super super good enchilada this week that about put me on my knees it was so darn good. But yea tomorrow i say bye to Quiñones. He was awesome. Defs had the most success with him and i wish him the best. Ill take a picture with him ;) I should be getting my package this week though just so you know. Also i had Little caesars this week and it made me really hapy haha

CONFERENCE BEAST MODE GOODS

Hey all!! Hows Arizona!? I hope its all good! Im so jealous again for the millionth time i always loved Arizona. Cant wait to go again one day! But i want pics next week! I hope it is fun!! Im glad you all didnt die on the hike haha.  But anyways no i haven't gotten your package yet...hmm..son maybe? haha. Anyways yes 6 weeks until the mothers day call!! im so excited!! I still havent Heard anything about it yet... so im sure they will say something soon cause i still have no idea whats gonna happen.

But it was cool we were able to watch part of conference this week in english!! All of us were like what the heck when they screamed opposed but we were pleased cause Ucthdorf took it like a boss and i loved the talks!! lots of talks on the family!! hahahaha must be important. But Im sure you can guess it...i REALLY liked Hollands talk.. It was so powerful! Ill talk more about that later but it was really nice haha. I liked Bednar's and Ballard's... OF course Uchtdorfs in priesthood as well as Monson!! I just loved the general authorities!! I felt like they were family members and i felt happy when they were talking. They are just beast mode. hence the title beast mode goods conference haha.

Anyways this week was prettttyyyy hot. Haha but eh its ok. This is the last week of the cycle...its posible i go...but who knows. I wouldn't mind seeing other áreas.. i just hate packing so much haha but ill know this week. We found a lot of cool people to teach this week. We didn't set any baptism dates but we found a lot of people who are really interested in listening to us. This week was a big reflection week for me. Just looking back and seeing what i've done these past 8 months and it just amazes me what i've been able to do thanks to this góspel. Sometimes i feel so imperfect and unworthy but when i study or teach..especially when i teach i feel so good and my mind is so clear. Its really cool hahaha. This week we contacted a woman on the Street and asked her if we could come by this week. We go to her house on thursday and we find out she's the neighbor of one of our recent converts!! WHAT hahaha cool stuff so we showed the easter video of Jesús and we just bearing testimony of the Resurrection and what not. Then i felt the impression to just touch on the importance of Christ in our church and not just our lives in general. I read in 2 Nephi 25 how we preach of Christ we talk of Him and we rejoice in Him and we do these things so that our kids may know how to live and be happy. I could tell it touched her and she's gonna start talking the lessons from us! so cool!!

Anyways I just wanted to bear my testimony of the importance of this weekend. I echo the words of the apostles and prophets that He does live!! He is not some grand Deity that chills in the heavens and waits for our lives to pass so we are judged. He is ACTIVELY involved in our lives. He loves us. He wants us to return to Him and The Father. There is no such thing as lost causes or "exceptions" or "ive sinned to much" hes here in every momento and every place. The tomb is empty!! Que guardemos los mandamientos de Dios para que tengamos la felicidad no sólo en esta vida sino la vida venidera.

One funny thing. Our second counselor came to conference with sunglasses and i was like hey hermano those are tight super cool my brother and i guess he really liked that compliment cause he got really friendly with me and just gave me another pair he had. Hes older so i think he felt good that a Young (good looking handsome funny) missionary said that to him hahaha. So i watched the last sesión with sick sunglasses but i got back to the house and i realized i left them at the church...haha its ok i dont think i can tract with those on hahaha
