haha thats good its summer! Finally it has gotten here. As im sure you can tell its really really hot soyea.  Sounds like youre livin up summer though!!! keep it up! haha enjoy it! I always loved to do stuff with Friends. I love the Eagle Project idea!!! Lemme know more about Peru and good luck with Trek!!! I loved it. Well good monday morning family!!! Im tiredout of my mind but hey thats normal now haha so no worries.  Sounds like its beeen a good week for you guys. Ive been praying for you guys alot!! Sounds like its going well with the new job!! I ope it continues to go well and mom good luck with Trek!! I promise youre going to love it hahaha. Misery is worth it ;)

Anyways well this week wasnt very succesful either...haha... but this week it looks to turn around. We have been fileding a nice Little pool of investigators and im hoping this is a breakout week. Ive relied alot on prayer this week and just being sups obedient and diligent.

Best/Worst thing we ate: Well worst was for sure these things called torchitas or something i cant remember but i totally thought it was chicken and nope it was fried oatmeal with onions and other stuff and my companion gave me his when the person wasnt looking and i had to eat it...IT WAS NICE THOUGH we appreciated that the family gave us food haha. Best was yesterday we had these tacos of carne res marinated in soya and it was sososososo good.

Funniest thing: last night we spent lke 2 hours fixing our fan air condish thing and it took forever and its the kind where you have to put in wáter and we hoisted it so it would reach our window and i guess my comp wasnt strong enough lol but it spilled the wáter all over me and i just got soaked and he laughed and i didnt haha

Scariest: nothin....hahhaha its always super sketch when cars slow down next to you and are all " hey what church are ya guys" and us " the church of Jesús Christ".... and them "oh..." and drive off hahahaha

Most spiritually rewarding and something new i learned...Idk just that numbers dont matter and i gotta have patience and just do what i can. We had a super cool lesson with a new investigator named Leticia and her daugther Dianna. Tey asked a lot of weird things and they have listened to the JW`s before haha so yea but they are really interested so thats good. Again we will see what happenes this week.

Right now in the book of mormon im Reading in Helaman and this week i found a scripture that really impacted me and made me realize how powerful and infinte the Atonement of Jesús Christ is. its Helaman 3:28-30

 28 Yea, thus we see that the gate‍ of heaven is open unto all, even to those who will believe on the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God.

 29 Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word‍ of God, which is quick‍ and powerful, which shall...lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow‍ course across that everlasting gulf‍ of misery...

 30 And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand‍ of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down ...with all our holy fathers, to go no more out.

Idk but thats really powerful that really glory and happiness and eternity is open TO ALL all we must do is believe in the Son of God and his name. Doesnt matter what you have done in this life or where you are now. The gates of haven are open. He is the Bridge Builder who will lead us across the gulf of our sorrows and trials and tests and afflictions and sins so that we canbe with Him and God and our families and "to go no more out"

Well hello!!! haha Just want to say i love you guys and thanks so much for the fasting and prayers i can feel them and htey help so much. But hey i'll be praying for you guys (i already do anyways haha) for this month especially with all the stuff thats happening!! I hope you are all able to get everything done!!  Tell Andrew and Sarah i'm proud of them and all they're doing!!!! Keep it up with all the stuff and good job to Jenna for bearing her testimony!!! :) thats awesome!!  and lol with the thunderstorm hahaha thats funny. ANd dad i hope everything is going good with work. I will for sure be praying for you to. Im sure its tough but i got ya ;) dont worry  itll all go well. Did ya read that scripture i gave ya?

Anyways well this week was more of the same. It always starts of promising and then no one goes to church hahaha. And its still really hot. Havent gotten super used to that. hahaha but itll come. We did a lot of contacting this week. On saturday we had 5 appts that fell and 2 of our references rejected us and said they didnt want to listen to us hahaha so we were bummed and we just started to contact and talk to everyone everyone and we did that for maybe 2 hours and we found some cool new people to teach. I was fasting then and im sure the Lord gave me strength to keep going on and then we got to the house and it was hot inside and we didnt sleep at all because two days earlier my comp put the fan in the doorway in the middle of the night and then i went to the bathroom and it scared the bejeebies out of me when i jsut ran into something inthe dark but it was the fan and it broke haha but we got a new one. but yea. Its been tough not seeing the results of the labors and efforts im putting in especially when missionaries and wardmemebers want immediate results. I was thinking about that alot this week and ive been doing alot of study of the Atonement and what not and i reread the letter you gave me mom about obedience months and how the Lord is trying and at least im planting seeds for the future!!

Another thing that happened this week was i did divisions with Elder Jesperson!! Haha one of my best Friends of the misión from Orem. He had to go to the border to fix his visa so we went and i actually left Mexcio for 30 minutes and was like 20 feet from the USA!!! WHATT haha it was cool and it was really hot when we slept so we took cold showers at 12 30 in the morning and yea haha love that guy. .

anyways as i gear up for the summer i came across the words of Joseph Smith in D&C 128:22 22 

Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. Let the earth break forth into singing. Boom 10 months!!

Wow there i got 10 months in the misión now... I honestly cant believe it!!! Time is flying by really really fast im not gonna lie. I still feel like a new kid but the year mark is creeping up real soon. Wow. for the shirts...idk long and short sleeve would be good. as for pants i like the tan ones for sure!!  But hey sounds like things really are starting to get busy for you guys there. HAha i want pictures and updates and all that kind of stuff on the things that are coming up for you guys!!! IM excited!!!

But yea it's getting ridiculously hot... like 90ish in our room every night...like i cant sleep hahah kind of nervous for the summer but we will see what happens. But its all good!!!  Ill live for sure. But hey im glad your are liking the pictures now!! haha my companion takes good pictures.

Well i'm not gonna lie this week was a Little tough. I'm exerting myself really hard and just  but as much as i would like and thats really hard and its hard not to compare between missionaries when i'm sure i'm doing just as much or more tan them... but its ok. I think the heat just gets to me sometimes but its all good. We did a lot alot alot alot alot of contacting this week like pure just walking up to people and trying to solicit a visit haha and we got rejected a lot and that wasnt to fun but hey it happens ya know. Not a big deal. We need to drop alot of investigators this week because they dont go to church even though we offered rides and brought members so we are figuring out what to. But something really cool did happen this week!!

We found a new investigator named Diego Ramos and he's 19 and he is SICK. We found him this past week and he already has a book of mormon and we came to his house and he sat us down and just started asking us questions and we resolved them all and in his pray to close he was super grateful that we answered all the doubts hes had for months and he is gonna get baptized the 20th of june!! I hope this date actually holds..ive been working hard for it but we will see what happens. I feel is one of those obedience months where not much is happening but God is trying me... i hope so becuase im doing my best for sure. When ever im tired or discouraged or sad or anything i just say REMEMBER HIM and yes then im pumped up again. Theres a scripture i read this week in Alma 30:34 that i really like. It says what more reward to i need out here...im already declaring the truth and rejoicing in the happiness of others!!

Wow!!! Sounds like quite the crazy week!! Lots of stuff happened. IM GONNA EMAIL PARKER!! WOO! Congrats! Thats super super cool!! Wow he leaves pretty son! September! Thats crazy. AND SARAH HAPPY BIRTHDAY. She looks so old!! She is very pretty and i'm glad it was good! Im so jealous of her imagine dragons!! How cool!! And how is your calling mom? Im sure you are killing it!!! And Andrew i wanna hear some spanish from you ;) hehehehe and also YES THAT IS JUMEX ITS SO GOOD!! BUt the best are mango, manzana and durazno. yumyum.

anyways. Crazy week. Tuesday Elder Christensen came and he taught and talked for a while. It was sups sups cool. But this week we have been getting ready to teach and get to know a lot of our new investigators. Mayra is one of the investigators who wants to get baptized.. but her husband is kind of against it.. but i whipped out D and C 97 and told her that any sacrifice is acceptable for the Lord and that she could be an example and we promised her that her spouse would change if she would continue. That was powerful. We found some other new investigators this week. We have some cool people falling into our laps and there's lot of potential. Im definitely doing all i can to help and love these people but it sucks when they use their free agency dumbly and don't go to church.... hahaha

anyways we got the transfers and i'm staying here again for another cycle hahahahhaa. but hey IF YOU CAN this week watch a video called Missionary Work and The Atonement its one of the most powerful videos i have ever seen. Just wow i feel rejuvenated. When i'm rejected or teased or made fun of or spit upon im standing shoulder to shoulder with the best life this world has ever seen, the only pure and perfect missionary. Jesús Christ. TIRED out of my MIND

Wow haha cant believe i talked to you guys a week ago time passed so sosososoos fast!!!! Well first of all yes i got your package and thanks so much!! I was acutally about to buy alot of that stuff today but now i dont have too ;D so thanks for that hahahaha. Also YES this week we got our pizza mom so thank you for the idea ;) haha hey tell ANDREW ATTA BOY WENT HARD IN THE PAINT! Im so proud of him thats awesome!!! I love hearing abut it from home and from you guys. Keep it up . I know it sounded busy but i hope you get some time to rest soon.

Anyways im not gonna lie this week i pushed it so hard and just tried to do sososososo much. Like i kind of collapsed on saturday haha i defs went to hard this week and we just dont have time at all to rest here... and alot of people didnt go to church this past week so that was really frustrating. I feel like the best missionary ive been on my misión and the most diligent but not as much is happening. BUT BUT BUT im not losing faith!!! You dont count me out that easily. This week i still had some good experiences.  of course haha.

This week we were talking to an old investigator that we are bringing back into the ring and went to her house.She studies ALOT ALOT and studies science stuff and philosphy and stuff and she was asking us some redicuolous questions and wanted super intricate answers and it was awesome all the answers that were popping in my head i could back up with book of mormon scriptures. It was super amazing and then at the end she just looked at us and was like WHY WHY i just want a reasonable explanation for everything and i pulled out Alma 32:21 which says that faith isnt to have a perfect knowledge of all things but its a hope of things that arent seen but are true. BOOOM TERMINATED. It was sick. I would say my favorite scripture is Alma 7:11-12.. actually i have no idea... there's so many!! But dad tell the youth do just go and serve a misión and that they wont regret it. If teres something preventing them fix it. Tell them the Atonement is infinte and nothing can seperate you from your eternal potential. They may not care now (like i didn't care as much back then) but the time will come when it will be ALL they want to do. Its amazing!

Anyways me and Arlington are pumped that the Cavs are in the east finals and we are gonna keep working hard. Just gonna try to rest if i can and get recharged. Its also hard not to compare yourslef out here too with others.

Also tomorrow Craig C Christensen of the 70 comes to talk to us!! so thats awesome.

HAPPY SUNDAYYYY THAT WAS SICK!

 Hey guys!! Well i just wanted to say i love you guys so much!! I know we talked alot yesterday but here i am and i wanted to tell you guys how much i love you guys!! That was so great and i was so happy to be able to talk for a while. Defnitely rejuvenated me and im ready for the week.  Well ill just send a spiritual thought for this week. It was so awesome to see the kids and talk to them. They've really grown so much since i left its crazy. Haha they have changed but are still the same.

Anyways this week was pretty hard just trying to stay balanced with all the investigators and some just aren't progressing and its kind of frustrating but the past couple nights have been better for sure. Gaspar and his family are progressing really really well. We really killed it yesterday with him in the church he loved it and the members went hard in the paint. It was awesome. He has a great family and its obvious that he has a great love for his family. And talking last night made me realize how much you guys love me. haha idk just talking in person made it more obvious.

It also helps me to recognize the love Heavenly Father and Jesús Christ have for me. If this is how you guys feel about me then imagine how HE feels. It helps me to put this love into perspective with my investigators also.

9 months wudddupppp ha ha!

Hey guys!! Wow sounds like  crazy week. A lot of stuff has been going on. It really just dawned on me how old everyone is getting. I cant believe it all the licenses and what not and everything!! ahahh what the heck is happening. So crazy. But hey sounds like it was a pretty good week. Love hearing everything. I hope everything goes well in moab!!! Tell Andrew thats too bad with Elder Christofferson!! What  bummer Elder Christy is a beast. hahaha . Anyways with the Skype call i'm sure we will figure out more information tonight because we have a zone meeting. So ill probably email you again sometime this week to let you know the plan. SO EXCITED TO TALK TO YOU. hahaha i'm just gonna talk in spanish to you guys hhahha just kidding... BUT JENNA HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIRTHDAY WOOO!!! I cant believe shes 10!! I always carry around a couple potos to show to investigators and members and its my baptism, jennas and then our family one haha. So cool.

Anyways. Yea so another super super crazy week and i guarantee this week is going to be the same. Got alot of stuff to do haha. Well first of all i got a new companion on thursday!! His name is Elder Fabian! He has 17 months in the misión and is from Oaxaca. Hes super cool actually hahahah but i miss the trio a Little bit. Hha no but its been good. Today we had a Deep cleaning and we found a bunch of clothes that missionaries just left and i guess they were a little chubby because the clothes were huge so we washed them and tried them on hahaha and we found some interesting stuff haha you'll see in the photos.

But yea this week was crazy just going from a trio and figuring everything out with the new companion. Something else funny is that the Jehovahs Witnesses always pass by our house and i just destroy them whenever they try to planch us haha. anyways our investigators our good. If everything goes well this week we should have 4 baptisms before this cycle is over. Alejandro and Blanca are kind of struggling we are trying to help them recognize the answer that WE KNOW they have received. We resolved lots of doubts. She asked me a question this week about baptisms and i helped clear her doubt up and we totally discerned her hidden doubt. One of her kids was born out of wedlock and she felt bad about that so we told her that this is a góspel of forgiveness. We hope they get baptized this week. Also Mayra is going to get baptized the 23rd and she is going along well. She loves that we pass and she says she doesn't want us to go. hahaha and Irving is on track for the 23rd. He went to church this week with Roy (my first convert here in tierra Nueva) and it was so powerful. Roy went up and bore his testimony for the first time!!! It was awesome and it just made me so happy to see his change and now he's the example for his friend. He thanked me and Elder Quiñones for showing him the góspel and taking him by the hand.

I love you guys so much!!! this góspel is true. I know it and i cant express how awesome you guys here. It finally started dawning on me this week that even though its crazy stressful and hot and crazy out here...i'm gonna miss the misión. Thanks goodness i still have 14 months! hahaha
